Jacob Mears

PRESIDENT
Jacob began working for Coastal Structures as an Assistant Superintendent during his summers home from Clemson, where he earned a degree in Construction Science Management. He then began working full time in 2012 as a project manager. In 2021, Jacob was named president of the Civil & Industrial Division, which has since become independent as CSCI. He is now focused on growing CSCI as he works to develop his team. He oversees the project management of the company’s projects, handles the business development & the running of day-to-day operations.
Aaron Clossman

PROJECT MANAGER
Aaron joined the team in 2016 after attending The University of South Carolina. Starting in the field as an assistant superintendent and quickly moving up to superintendent, Aaron merged into the industrial sector of the company in 2018. Since then, he has overseen projects for deep foundations, tank farms & roads. In 2022, Aaron was promoted to Assistant Project Manager. Aaron has since been promoted to Project Manager, whilst also occupying roles such as Layout Master and Part-time Mechanic.
Brandon Hockenberry

ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER
Brandon joined the team in 2014. Starting in the field as a laborer, he has since been promoted to foreman and then to superintendent after two and a half years later. Brandon has helped complete numerous projects throughout his many years with the company. His first job as a superintendent was a 13,000 sf OB/GYN up-fit, and his more recent jobs were: UPL, Waccamaw Community Hospital, International Paper, and Nanya #2.
